Secret life of the beetles, featuring a macaw, owl and pheasant | Natura...
A few years ago I was very lucky to have a 'behind the scenes' tour of the Natural History Museum in Tring, Hertfordshire, and was able to witness the facilities for skeleton preparation. It is fascinating, if a little gruesome, and it has to be said that as a workplace it had a certain odour that would be quite difficult to shift from the nose. Most interesting for me personally was the huge collection of different bird nests present at Tring.
